Alegria Tryouts

We are welcoming girls aged 5 - 17 to join our National and Provincial Stream Programs for year 2011-2012.

Tryouts will be held at Max Bell Centre (South "D" space) at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg during our regular practice times. Please contact us to arrange an appointment.

Please refer to our practice schedule for the exact times. We also offer Interclub Programs and Recreational Programs. Don't hesitate to contact our club for more information!

Head Coach, NCCP Level 3

Natalia was a member of the Soviet and Ukrainian National Teams. She was a champion of the USSR and all round champion of Ukraine. After her competitive career, she received her Master's of Physical Education and Sports and proceeded to accumulate a wealth of international experience in the field of Rhythmic Gymnastics.

Natalia has coached children from Pre School to National Level and World Class athletes in Russia, Ukraine, Poland and Canada for over 26 years. Natalia is an expert in all aspects of sports choreography and has choreographed Rhythmic Gymnastics, Artistic Gymnastics and Sports Acrobatics National Team members in Russia, Ukraine and Poland.

Summer Camp 2012

Alegria and Sokol Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs in cooperation with Rhythmic Gymnastics Manitoba are organizing a sports training camp in August 2012 for gymnasts from Winnipeg and Manitoba.  An expert coach with over 40 years of experience - Liudmila Kovalik has been invited to run the camp. She has trained national team athletes for numerous countries including Soviet Union, Ukraine, Poland, China, Brazil, France and Italy.

Alegria is a Winnipeg club affiliated with Rhythmic Gymnastics Manitoba Inc. It is the most rapidly developing and highly competitive Rhythmic Gymnastics club in the province and is one of the biggest National Stream clubs in Manitoba. Alegria programs are designed to help girls reach their maximum potential in the sport of rhythmic gymnastics and where possible to create internationally competitive athletes. The programs' goal is to build the athletes' confidence that goals can be achieved and to create a strong foundation for their future endeavors be they in sport or in life.
